MAPD Data Explorer

The MAPD Data Explorer lets you browse the modern-award reference data FairCheck holds — the same awards the compliance engine checks payslips against. As the page says, it shows "what the webhook/sync saved in the database, with strict limits." You need to be signed in to use it.

Searching awards

Three filters sit above the table:

Code (exact) — an award code such as MA000002. Only that award is returned.
Search (code/name) — matches anywhere in the code or the name, for example "building".
Limit — rows per page, from 10 to 200. The default is 50; values outside the range are clamped.

Click Search to apply. The bar beneath shows Total matching awards and Page n/m, with Prev and Next to move between pages. Results are ordered by code.

The table columns are:

Column	What it shows
ID	FairCheck's internal id for the award
Code	The award code (`MA######`)
Name	The award's name
Classifications	How many pay classifications FairCheck holds for the award
Salaried	Whether the award is flagged as salaried in the stored data
Source fetched	The date the award's data was last fetched from the source
Updated	The date the stored record last changed

If nothing matches, the table reads "No awards match your filter."

Where this data comes from

The awards, their classifications and their versioned rates and penalties are synced from the Fair Work Commission's Modern Awards Pay Database (MAPD) and are never hand-edited. A sync refreshes one award at a time from that source; Source fetched is when that last happened for the award you are looking at.

The FWC/MAPD service can also notify FairCheck when award data changes by posting to FairCheck's /webhooks/mapd endpoint. The affected MA###### codes are extracted from that notification and re-synced, so later evaluations price against current rates. Details of that webhook are at /developers/webhooks.
