Upload results
This page follows one upload from start to finish: how far extraction has got, what still needs you, and the result for every payslip in that batch. It is scoped to a single upload, so a second upload landing while you work through the first does not muddle the two. You reach it from the "This upload's progress and results" link on Confirm payslip details; payslips that arrive through the API, a webhook or a connector have no upload and no page here.
The line under the title is the progress sentence, for example "92 of 100 processed, 8 need your input". It is worked out from the payslips themselves each time the page loads, so it can never disagree with the list below. It also says how many are still being read.
Needs your input
This section appears only while something in the batch could not be resolved on its own. It lists the handful of unknowns rather than a form for every person, with a running "x of y resolved" count on the right.
Each item names the problem, how many payslips it affects, and a one-line explanation:
| Item | What it means |
|---|---|
| Couldn't read … | The document couldn't be extracted. Try a clearer scan or a PDF. This is the one item without a "Fix this" link, because there is nothing to confirm. |
| No award for … | We couldn't work out which award covers this person from the payslip. |
| No classification for … | We identified the award but couldn't pin the level. |
| More than one … | Two people answer to one name and these payslips print no payroll reference, so we can't tell which person they belong to. FairCheck will not guess. |
| No hours for … | We can check the rate paid, but not penalties, overtime or the full entitlement. |
"Fix this" opens Confirm payslip details, where the answer is given once per person, not once per payslip.
When several people need the same fix, a note underneath says so: set it once in the wizard and use "apply to all".
Total exposure
The dollar figure at the top is the sum of every shortfall found in this batch. Underneath it: how many people, employers and payslips were checked.
Below that is the accuracy line. Every result carries an accuracy tier, and a batch is worth its weakest row: the line shows the lowest tier in the batch with its label ("Unqualified", "Floor", "Contextual", "Evidenced" or "Preventive"). One person with no award and level set caps the whole batch at Tier 0.
"Download CSV" saves the table as a spreadsheet.
The table has one row per payslip:
- Employee — click the name to open the payslip result.
- Employer — or "—" if none was resolved.
- Verdict — "Looks right", "Worth checking", "Needs your input" or "Not checked".
- Tier — the result's accuracy tier and label, or "—" if it has not been checked.
- Variance — the shortfall in dollars, or "—".
- Clause — the award clause the largest finding rests on, so every flagged row points at its source.
FairCheck compares each payslip to published award rates and flags what's worth a closer look. It can't see rosters, side agreements or offsets, so a flag is a prompt to check, not a finding of underpayment.
